Whole Body Vibration

Galileo Whole Body Vibration is the only quality tilting platform mechanism available and is used by quality therapists because of its broad range of therapeutic applications and the extensive research evidence.

 VIBO therapy

Physiotherapists have been using short-term vibration in varying forms for many years.  At low frequencies vibration can be used to relax muscles - indeed, in the past physiotherapists have put children with spasticity (high muscle tone) onto washing machines to help break the muscle spasm.  Whilst at high frequencies physiotherapists use vibration to wake a ‘muscle up’ or to stimulate it.

Advances in technology have produced exciting new options in vibration therapy.  Full size, standing platforms are now allowing whole body vibration strategies for therapists to offer more effective exercise programs.

Whole Body Vibration has been used extensively throughout Europe and North America since 1990 and is now available in Australia.  Select therapists are using vibration therapy to produce significant exercise benefits, including

► Muscle strengthening
► Sports rehabilitation
► Bone strengthening
► Get up and go time
► Falls prevention
► Metabolic advantages
► Neurological conditions
and more...

Please utilise the resources on our site to discover more about whole body vibration and how vibration therapy may benefit you.  We hope you will learn that not all vibration therapy is the same.  In particular we hope you will realise the superior benefits of the tilting mechanism of Galileo Whole Body Vibration and understand why quality therapists only use this mechanism.
